Fall Foliage - Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

Fall in the Sault Ste Marie area is one of spectacular colors. Leaves begin to change colors mid September. The Agawa train that leaves Sault Ste Marie travels daily through the hardwood forests to entertain customers from all locations in the world.

The Story behind the pictures

Almost yearly a mini vacation is taken to experience one of nature`s wonderful gifts.  With Lake Superior nearby this area has an abundance of exceptional scenic qualities.
  
John`s Comments
The beautiful colors of the fall hardwood trees have no borders and this is one that requires sharing. There is some beautiful natural scenery in the area and that includes driving along the Lake Superior shore.

John`s Recollections
The drive north of Sault St. Marie to Searchmont could almost be considered a perfect road trip. Fall colors are miraculous and it is easy to see why many travel to Sault Ste Marie and take the fall folliage train ride during mid September to mid October.
