The Story behind the picture

The Pacific Ocean along the western border of Oregon has magical qualities. At times it can be rough and dangerous, at other times peaceful and calm, and even at others difficult to see through the heavy mist, but always you can hear the waves as they lap against the shore.  The Bandon area shown here provided a great
backdrop to view and enjoy this beautiful part of nature.

Oregons` Northern Pacific Coastline

Many stops along the way to view what seems to be a very rugged coastline. Industry in the area seems limited to forestry and fishing, but it will bring nature closer to all

Drive highlights - Boise, Idaho to Portland, Oregon

The drive from Boise, Idaho to Portland, Oregon travels thru very scenic landscapes, with mountainous terrain at many times straddling the Columbia River. The Columbia River, at least to me, is one very impressive site, and its` sheer width and size will cause most to look a second time.
