Hoover Dam - Nevada

One of man's major construction projects. Water marks on the facings of the gorge now display prominently the high water levels of years ago. The size of the turbines that generate power for so many individuals are quite impressive. One can descend to the turbines and river level from the top of the dam.

Laughlin, Nevada & Colorado River

Mini Las Vegas alongside the Colorado River. Similar names of Casino`s as to Vegas, but without the high life associated with that area. Colorado river helps to bring a more calming effect, however gambling is the main venue with other entertainment left far behind compared to Vegas.
